Law 3889/2010 was published in Official FEK 182 / A, 14.10.2010, concerning the financing of environmental interventions, the green box and the penalty forest maps.
Principal axes of the law is first to establish an integrated system and special financing environmental interventions aimed at enhancing development through environmental protection and the efficient and transparent management of resources for upgrading and rehabilitating the environment and to tackle climate change and secondly on the ratification of forest maps as provided by Article 27 of Law 2664/1998 training process, visa and ratification of forest maps introduced at a time when the pension and their disclosure could only "on paper". With developments in technology now provide the option of electronic mapping, which greatly facilitate the process and makes possible ratification forest maps in a short chrono.Oi rules of law tending to simplify and expedite the process for all areas of the Greek territory subject to the provisions of paragraphs 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Article 3 of Law 998/1979, whose content is interpreted according to the rules and lessons of the science of Forestry.
